These are extracts from one of my favourite books of mine and very well known, world wide title: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Thanks Napoleon! :) Please enjoy the sharing below.

"Six Ways to Turn Desires into Gold"

The method by which desire for riches can be transmuted into its financial equivalant, consists of six definite, practical steps:

First: fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say "I want plenty of money." Be definite as to the amount. (there is a pyschological reason for definiteness ....)

Second: determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as "something for nothing")

Third: establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.

Fourth: establish a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.

Five: write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumate it.

Sixth: read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. As you read - see and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money.

It is important that you follow the instructions described in these six steps. It is especially important that you observe, and follow the instructions in the sixth paragraph....

Here is where a burning desire will come to your aid. If you truly desire money so keenly that your desire is an obsession, you will have no difficulty in convincing yourself that you will acquire it.....

The object is to want money, and to become so determined to have it that you convince yourself you have it.

"Discover How To Dramatically Catapult Your Income and Profits from Virtually any Business!"

This special weekend event was on Saturday 20/06/09 to Sunday 21/06/09. Hosted by Brendan Nichols at the Palazzo Versace Hotel, Sea World Drive, Main Beach (near Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast). The main topic of discussion is sub headed above. Firstly, take a look at the link to this amazing hotel, please click here.

Just a little background on Brendan which was taken out of our Boot Camp material:

"Brendan Nichols is one of the Australia's most highly paid Business Consultants. Companies like the Flight Centre have paid him up to $2,200 an hour. He specializes in showing business people how to generate larger cash profits through Maverick Marketing and Mindset techniques.

In the 1980's he ran a massively successful project marketing company where every sales person in the company was int he top 1% of produces in the country.

He has shared the stage with the likes of Tom Hopkins and Robert Kiyosaki and thousands of people from Australia, USA, NZ & Asia have attended the dynamic seminars. He is the best selling author and has done over 100 media interviews and appeared in almost every major newspaper in Australia.

Brendan has spent three decades on researching countless business and personal practices and is highly regarded by his clients as an extraordinary asset in their success"

Personally the event was one of the greatest seminars and even at the greatest venue i have attended. I have seen many speakers over 8 years of my personal and business development and this man speaks from experience and from the heart.

His strategies and structures are exactly what i have been looking for to catapult PVC to the next level or through his words to 'Manifest PVC'. He is clearly straight to the point and provides strategies to simply put cash in our pockets.

Key things i picked up from the event are the importance of correct marketing strategies and structures in any business i.e. Client Duration Value, Advertising Laws, AIDA, Direct Response, Unique Selling Distinctions, Sales Letter Power Words, Risk Reversal, Strategic Alliances and many many more.

I will be attending further sold out seminars this year at his exclusive "Million Dollar Presentation Secrets" and "Platinum Millionaire Make Over."

alt

If you require any further information about Brendan and what i have learnt from my mentor so far (more to come!) or  would simply like to chat about this in general please email me now at jay.mclean15@gmail.com.

Finally here is a little souvenir of the event with the picture on our left with Brendan and Myself at the end of the first day event (Saturday). He signed my book as well!! :)

DAY 1

I actually went to a Geekversity seminar today (2 day event and for FREE) – it was about internet marketing and it was great! They started off with a really creative video presentation about some important facts about technology and continued with some incredibly useful and practical information all related to the "internet space" or the world wide web.

The internet space is continually evolving and growing in size, thus making the world a much smaller and more accessible market – they really teach you how to capitalise on this and its very hands-on training, which i truly love!

Today, we began to learn about affiliate marketing and how to leverage various social media communication channels, but the most i got out of today is the:

Geekversity Success Formula

     1.  Research
     2.  Products
     3.  Traffic
     4.  ROI

There’s more great topics planned for tomorrow’s agenda. Our homework assignment even has the potential to generate real money too – can’t wait to apply it!

Anyway, I’ve added a link so you can take a look at the Geekversity site.
These Geeks rock!

More news tomorrow after my sunday seminar (2nd day) -- looking forward to it... can't sleep and just thinking about all the possibilities!!

DAY 2 (Final Day)

I thought Day 1 was fantastic. Today was even more amazing!

There was so many ideas to learn and take action from. Some of the key things that come to mind right now are:

  *  Conversion/Traffic
          - Clear Call to Action
          - One Action Per Page
          - Optimise

  *  Types of Traffic - this was very interesting we learn't many many types of traffic from FREE to paid i.e. Social, Email, PR/News, Backlinks and Paid

  *  Cost of Traffic

  *  One of the more important key thoughts was a couple of points from Geekversity's Mission which shows the true integrity of the Geeks! :)
          - "Empower people through online education" and
          - "Share the knowledge we have."   ......I love it!!

  * The highlight for me personally for today, would be Ian's brief advance Social Media strategies like (really sorry Troy, you still did a great job today):

          - Social Media Trifecta i.e. Blog, Twitter and Social Book Marking
          - Retwit
          - Twinfluence
          - Tweetmeme
          - Tweeteffect
          - Polldaddy

The 2 day event was unforgetable and i truly recommend it to anyone. Can't wait for them to come back to Melbourne! So all you readers out there, if they are coming to a city near you please have an open mind and truly see for yourself how much you can leverage from there Internet Market Knowledge!! You can see the upcoming events at Geekversity site.

Oh one more thing....Troy i truly appreciate you signing the book i won yesterday by Kurek Ashley - How would Love Respond, so far it has been an awesome read!

As you noted...I will be surely Joining the Revolution and Unleashing my inner geek!  :D

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support,

To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.

Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.

They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.

They may teach you something you have never done.

They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.

Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,

things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.

Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.
